Summary

This work reports low-thermal-budget epitaxial growth of large-area 2D CrTe2 films on amorphous silicon wafers and studies their magnetic behavior.

My contribution

I performed micromagnetic simulations to quantify the role of interfacial DMI in stabilizing skyrmions in CrTe2 and estimated the required DMI strength.
