My Contribution

I performed micromagnetic simulations (MUMAX3) to investigate the magnetic domain structure of the CrTe₂/Bi₂Te₃ heterostructure. My simulations revealed that the substantial interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI), arising from the synergistic interplay between strong spin-orbit coupling in Bi₂Te₃ and the atomically sharp interface, stabilizes Néel-type magnetic stripe domains and skyrmions.

I systematically analyzed a range of DMI values, mapping the phase transitions between uniform ferromagnetic states, skyrmion phases, and labyrinthine stripe domains. These results provided direct theoretical support for the experimentally observed topological Hall effect and confirmed that the degree of inversion symmetry breaking at the interface dictates the accessible magnetic phases.
